Pokemon Showdown Randomizer is a Chrome extension developed by randomizeurs. It falls under the category of Browsers and is specifically categorized as an Add-ons & Tools subcategory. This free program allows users to play any format on Pokemon Showdown with random teams generated by seven different modes.
With the classic mode, players get a random team from a massive 13,000+ Smogon team dump sourced from the forums. Additionally, there are procedurally generated teams sorted by four difficulty modes: easy, normal, hard, and lunatic. The matrix mode generates teams using a powerful AI matrix, but it is currently only available in the gen8ou format and is still experimental. Lastly, the teambuilder mode selects a random team from the user's builder in the chosen tier, making it perfect for the OLT.
It's worth noting that users can change their current mode at any time through the extension's menu, which appears when clicking on the extension icon in the top right corner of the browser tab.
There are also upcoming features planned for the Pokemon Showdown Randomizer, including a team generator mode based on the user's usage stats and a new team algorithm.
